Let's Talk America with Host Shana Thornton to Hold 4th Annual Celebration of Hope Luncheon To Highlight Community Leadership and Service
November 2019— All community members are invited to attend the 4th Annual Celebration of Hope: A Community Benefit Luncheon presented by the award-winning family radio talk show Let's Talk America with Host Shana Thornton on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 12 pm at the Shiloh Community Life Center located at 262 Macon Street in McDonough, Georgia. The benefit luncheon highlights public service in the Southern Crescent Area of Atlanta Metropolitan. This year 8 different local community leaders will be recognized for their altruistic service. The 2019 Public Service Award recipients include Reverend Dr. Terrance Gattis and Reverend Dr. Elaine Gattis of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Sandra Gravely of A Friend’s House, Sabrina Crawford of Gigi’s House, Tiffany Austin of the Henry County School System and Lori Harris, Linda Clark and David Clark of the Our World School.
Several area youth will be recognized for their academic and community service. This year’s youth honorees include Alexander Monroe, Treandos Thornton, Jade McCray, Brittney Browne, Noah Thornton, Bryce Browne and Brooklyn Greene.
